Program Import

Import course information from Modern Campus CMS pages into Pathways to associate your catalog offerings to careers. Pathways will show visitors a link to the course pages associated with a career.

1. Go to Pathways > Programs > Import.
2. Select the site where your course pages are located.
3. Select the checkbox(es) to choose the file(s) and/or folder(s) to import.
   • Files that are selectable must end in: asp, aspx, cfm, cfml, chtml, cshtml, dna, gdgt, gsp, htm, html, jsp, mht, pcf, php, php3, phtml, shtm, shtml, ssi, xhtml
4. Click Continue.
5. Review the data to be imported for accuracy.
   1. The data that will be imported is the page title <title> and final published URL.
   2. You can change the data after import. Go to Pathways > Programs to edit the program.
6. Click Start Import.
   • Do not navigate away from the page while the import is in progress.
   • If an import fails, click Download Import Results to see the reason for failure in a CSV file.

Next, make these programs active and assign them to occupation groups, as follows:

1. Go to Pathways > Programs.
2. Click the name to edit the program(s) you imported.
3. Enable Active to show the program on your website.
4. Select an occupation group and Job Market Outlook appearance profile from the dropdowns.
5. Save and Publish.

Once imported into Pathways, program links are not managed by Modern Campus CMS. If a program page is moved or renamed, go to Pathways > Programs to edit the page link.
